These registrations/licenses shall enable the use of certain frequency bands (Ku, Ka, and Q/V/W-bands) allocated to the fixed-satellite service. They can be used to provide several types of service, including direct-to-consumer broadband, broadband services to businesses, telcos, governments, and Internet of Things.
An NGSO System Registration by PSARB covers the following three types of registration:
The preliminary step for registration with PSARB is online profile creation by the applicant, which is currently open for satellite operators providing Radiocommunication Services (Telecommunication) in Pakistan.
After successful creation of a profile, PSARB will issue an Application Number to the applicant. With this number, the satellite operator may create a login for the Satellite Operator Portal, where they can register themselves/their systems with PSARB.

When considering applications for these registrations, we will take account of their impact on technical coexistence and competition. We will also publish and invite comments on applications that we are considering authorizing.
Applicants will be expected to show how their proposed gateway or network can coexist with:
